THERE’S SOMETHING ABOUT NOTHING

Nothing is notoriously hard to grasp. However, things are set to change with the welcome return of Dr Johnny Façade to the Buxton Festival Fringe. His brand new comedy show ‘Something about Nothing’ will attempt to fill in the empty gaps and explain almost everything there is to know about nothing.

Last year Dr Façade successfully predicted the future with his groundbreaking multimedia show “Futurology Live!” that won the prize for ‘Best Solo Comedy’. This year he is searching for and trying to unravel the secrets contained within the mysterious void. Enigmas that include cosmic cookie monsters and vanishing zombie cats. Uniquely fusing magic, mentalism and silly pseudo-science; this is one show not to be missed.

The show’s magical creator Matt Pritchard, who grew up in Buxton, is excited to be returning to the area. “The Fringe is an amazing fortnight. There’s a real buzz to the town and I love being part of that.” says Matt.

During last year’s fringe Matt caused quite a stir by presenting a hilarious show that lacked any obscene content. Instead the interactive shows can prove surprisingly thought provoking, making for a night of top class ‘edutainment’, suitable for all.
